The MatrixGold Secondary Training Course is the essential next step for students who have completed our MatrixGold Primary Training Course and are ready to move beyond the foundations.

The Primary Course teaches you how to confidently navigate MatrixGold, understand its core tools and build jewellery using sound, reliable workflows. The Secondary Course builds directly on that knowledge, introducing more advanced tools, techniques and design strategies that will significantly expand what you are capable of creating.

Rather than simply teaching you how to reproduce a collection of finished designs, each tutorial has been carefully chosen to introduce new ways of thinking and working within MatrixGold.

You may not regularly create every style demonstrated in the course—and that's the point. The real value lies in the techniques used to create them. You'll learn how different MatrixGold tools can be combined, adapted and applied to solve a much wider range of jewellery design challenges.

These are skills that can then be transferred to your own work, whether you're creating traditional commercial jewellery, complex bespoke pieces or something completely Avant-Garde.

The course explores projects and techniques including:

  • V-Shaped Rings
  • Jali & Decorative Pattern Work
  • Halo & Cluster Designs
  • PavĂ© Setting
  • Micro-PavĂ©
  • Advanced Modelling & Construction Techniques
  • Complex Jewellery Design Workflows
  • ...and much more

If the MatrixGold Primary Course taught you the foundations of designing confidently in MatrixGold, the Secondary Course teaches you how to push those foundations further, solve more complex design problems and begin using MatrixGold to its full potential.

Primary gives you the foundation. Secondary develops the designer.
